Hey everyone!
I have been tagged by the lovely Mina @ Stacked to do the ‘I should have read that book’ tag. Thank you for tagging me!
As I don’t have a review to share today, I decided to post my answers for the tag today!
This tag was created by the amazing Beth @ Books Nest.
Here are the rules:
- Thank the person who tagged you and link back to their post
- Link to the creator’s blog (booksnest.co.uk) in your post
- Answer the questions below
- Tag 10 others to take part
- ENJOY THE TAG!
And the questions are…
1 – A book that a certain friend is always telling you to read
I can’t think of one particular book off the top of my head, but my dad is forever telling me to read every book that James Herbert ever wrote!
2 – A book that’s been on your TBR forever and yet you still haven’t picked it up
Well this list is never ending for me… I have so many books on my TBR that have been there forever! But, Leonardo Da Vinci by Walter Isaacson has definitely been on there way too long.

3 – A book in a series you’ve started, but haven’t gotten round to finishing yet
Domain by James Herbert. I started The Rats series a few months back, but because of blog tours, NetGalley arcs, and author review requests, I just haven’t had chance to read Domain yet. I’m hoping to read it very soon though!

4 – A classic you’ve always liked the sound of, but never actually read
The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. It has always seemed like the sort of classic that I would really enjoy. I own a copy, but for some reason, I’ve never actually read it.

5 – A popular book that it seems everyone but you has read
The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon. It has just never really appealed to me.

6 – A book that inspired a film/TV adaptation that you really love, but you just haven’t read it yet
Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle. The TV adaptation, Sherlock, with Benedict Cumberbatch is one of my favourite TV series, but I’ve never read the Sherlock Holmes books… I own the complete collection though, haha!

7 – A book you see all over Instagram but haven’t picked up yet
The Cruel Prince by Holly Black. Well, all Holly Black books for that matter! I do want to give The Cruel Prince a try though.

Thank you! I’ve had a copy of it for a while, I really wanted one of the original cover copies in hardback, I searched for one for ages, and finally got my hands on one earlier this year! You’re welcome, I’m looking forward to reading your answers 🙂

Great answers! To me, Dorian Grey is a fantastic novel, if you enjoy great writing and antiheros I think you’ll love it! The Priory was awesome for me but others found it overrated so I guess it’s just not for everyone. Oh, and I also love Sherlock and Cumberbarch, I really gotta read those novels already 😂

I’m sure I will love Dorian Grey! The Priory has just never really appealed to me and I don’t even know why, haha. Cumberbatch is the best!

Oh my gosh I’m with you on so many of these answers. Holly Black seems to be everywhere at the moment, I’m really eager to start some of her stuff. Also never read Sherlock Holmes – I’ll get there one day. Great tag!

I’m not sure if her books are really my sort of thing, but I still really want to give them a try! Me too, haha! Thank you 🙂
