The Festive Christmas Book Tag

Hey everyone!

It’s Tuesday, which means that it is tag day on my blog.
I saw this tag over on The Book Dutchesses, and decided to give it a go myself. The tag was originally created by GirlReading.

1 – A fictional family you would like to spend Christmas dinner with?

How could I choose anyone other than the Weasley’s?!

2 – A bookish item you would like to receive as a gift?

Book related Funko Pop’s to add to my collection, book related candles, or bookmarks.

3 – A fictional character you think would make a perfect Christmas elf?

Is it cheating if I say Dobby, because he is actually an elf, or is that allowed? Dobby would be the best Santa’s little helper!

4 – Match a book to it’s perfect Christmas song.

Okay, this is a hard one, considering most of the books I read are thrillers which involve lots of crime and death… not very festive, haha!

I think I’m going to actually skip this question, because I have absolutely no idea!

5 – Bah Humbug. A book or fictional character you’ve been disappointed in and should be put on the naughty list?

Alice in Wonderland. I’m sorry to everyone who loves it, but I hated it!

6 – A book or a fictional character you think deserves more love and appreciation and deserve to be put on the nice list?

The Vampirates series by Justin Somper. Honestly, that series brings me so much joy! There is actually a 6th book which isn’t included in this picture (the 2nd book in the pile was a special World Book Day short story and is known as book 1.5).

7 – Red, Gold and Green. A book cover that has a wonderfully christmasy feel to it.

I answered this in a recent post, but the Penguin clothbound classic edition of A Christmas Carol and other Christmas Writings by Charles Dickens.

8 – A book or series you love so much, you want everyone to find under their Christmas tree this year so they can read it and love it too?

It has to be the Harry Potter series! Those books bring me so much happiness, and will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I want everyone to experience that.

I Tag:

And if I haven’t tagged you, but you want to do it too, feel free to join in! I can’t wait to read all of your answers!
