Christmas Songs Book Tag

Hey everyone!
I don’t have a review to share with you all this week, so instead, I am doing another festive book tag!

I saw the Christmas Songs Book Tag over on Amy’s Bookish Life, and it looked like fun, so I am giving it a go myself. This tag was originally created by That Artsy Reader Girl.

1 – “All I Want for Christmas Is You”: Favourite bookish couple.

There are so many bookish couples that I love which makes it incredible hard to choose. But my favourite is probably Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy.

2 – “I’ll Be Home for Christmas”: Name a book where a character is away from home (school, vacation, etc.).

My absolute favourite: Harry Potter

3 – “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”: Name your favourite “little” book (children’s book, short story, novella, etc.).

I don’t really read many short stories or novellas, but I will say Sour Candy by Kealan Patrick Burke.

4 – “Santa Claus is Coming to Town“: What book(s) do you hope Santa brings you this year?

Setting my hopes high, and saying the Folio Society editions of The Notebooks of Leonardo Da Vinci

5 – “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer”: Which book turned your nose red (made you cry)?

I’ve cried at quite a few books, so I will go with a recent one. The Photographer of the Lost by Caroline Scott absolutely broke my heart. But I recommend it to absolutely everyone!

6 – “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year”: Your favorite book/kind of book to read during the holidays.

I don’t really change my reading for the holidays, but I do love a Harry Potter re-read during the festive period.

7 – “We Three Kings”: Your favourite trilogy.

Can I say James Herbert’s The Rats trilogy, even though I haven’t read the 3rd book yet? because OH MY GOD it is incredible!

8 – “Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow”: A character you would love to be snowed in with.

Newt Scamander, purely because he would be probably be accompanied by/carrying a load of fantastic beasts!

9 – “Last Christmas”: A book that seriously let you down.

I say this every time, but Alice in Wonderland!

10 – “White Christmas”: An upcoming release you’re dreaming about.

Fifty FIfty by Steve Cavanagh. I can not wait for this book to be released!

    1. You’re welcome 🙂

They do! I have a couple of their books, but I’m desperate to get more! I’ve been eyeing up their Jane Austen collection too!
