Hey everyone!
It’s Tuesday, which means that it is tag day on my blog.
I recently saw Elanor @ Reading At Teatime do The Harry Potter Christmas Tag on her blog, as part of Blogmas. I think this tag was originally created by Charleigh Writes.
Although I wasn’t tagged to do this, it fits with my festive theme, I love Harry Potter, and it looks like fun, so I’m giving it a go anyway.
The Rules:
1 – Link back to the creator
2 – You can’t choose any Harry Potter book for any of your answers
3 – Tag however many people you wish
4 – Have fun!
It’s your first Christmas at Hogwarts. What’s one book you’ve asked for this year?
I’ve asked for a few, but I aimed my hopes a little high when I asked for the Folio Society editions of The Notebooks of Leonardo Da Vinci.

You spot Hagrid hauling the Christmas tree through the grounds. What is the longest (or heaviest) book you own?
I own quote a few big books, but biggest and heaviest is probably either my illustrated edition of The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R Tolkien, or Leonardo Da Vinci by Walter Isaacson.
It’s time for the famous Great Hall feast. What’s one book you can’t read without snacks?
I actually don’t tend to snack while I’m reading. Am I the only one who doesn’t? If i had to choose though, I would probably say Talking As Fast As I Can by Lauren Graham.
Well done, you’ve brewed your first Polyjuice Potion. What’s one book you’d change the cover of?
I honestly can’t think of an answer for this, because even the books that I don’t like a cover for have another edition that has a lovely cover…
You receive a brand new Firebolt for Christmas. What’s one book you read super quickly?
Lullaby by Leïla Slimani. I think I read that within an afternoon, it’s such a great book!

You join Harry for his first proper Christmas. What’s one book you’d love to receive this year?
Of course my answer is the same as it was for the first question. The Notebooks of Leonardo Da Vinci.

You get hit by one of Fred and George’s flying snowballs. What’s a book you wanted to throw across the room?
I think you can all guess what I am about to say… Alice in Wonderland. I don’t want to throw it across the room, I want to throw it out of the bloody window!
You’ve just visited Hogsmeade for the first time. What’s one popular book you haven’t read yet?
There’s actually quite a few! But I bought a copy of Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine because of the hype, and I wanted to see what the fuss was about. I still haven’t actually read it though!

Congratulations, you’ve been invited to the Yule Ball. What book about Christmas do you love?
I don’t really read books about Christmas, so I will have to choose A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens.
You find Ron’s deluminator. What’s one book that’s helped you through some dark times?
Because of the rules of the tag, I can’t answer this with the book that has helped me most. But, the Vampirates series by Justin Somper has always been one of my go to series during dark times.

I tag:
- Steph @ Bookslovereaders
- Kristen @ The Brunette Bookworm Blog
- Elaine @ Elaine Howlin – Literary Blogger
- Anna @ Anna’s Book Nook
- Portia @ The Owlery Reader
Awesome answers! this looks like such a fun tag, HP and Christmas combined is just a recipe for awesome! ❤ ❤

Oh what a fun tag I loved this. You’ve got some great answers in here. Not a fan of Alice in Wonderland then? Haha! I’ve never read it so can’t comment either way
