2020 Reading Goals And Challenges

Hey everyone!
For today’s post, I will be sharing my reading goals, and reading challenges for the year. Last year, I didn’t really set myself any goals, or take part in any challenges (except my GoodReads reading challenge), so I decided to set a few for this year, and fingers crossed, I will stick to them!

GoodReads Reading Challenge

In 2019, I set myself a target of 30 books for my GoodReads reading challenge, but I actually managed to read 51 books. So, this year I decided to put my target up to 50.

Read More Books That I Own

Like most readers, I have so many books on my shelves that I just haven’t read. So, this year, I plan on changing that! I am aiming to read as many books that I already own as I possibly can. To do this, I am going to take part in Clearing The Hoard – Bookwyrm Challenge! I definitely don’t have the patience to make all of the graphs, but I will be making a list of my books, to tick off along the way.

NetGalley And Review Requests

I have quite a backlog of NetGalley ARCs, and review requests from authors, which I really need to get through. So, before I even start on the books on my shelves, these are my priority. I want to completely clear the backlog! I’m aiming for that 80% feedback ratio!

2020 TBR Reading Challenge

As a lot of you know from my previous post, I am taking part in the 2020 TBR Reading Challenge, which was created by the lovely Mina @ Stacked. As you will see in my post, there are 22 prompts for the year, and I have chosen the books I will be reading for each of them.

Those are all of the reading goals and challenges I am aiming to achieve/complete this year!

Have you set yourself any goals for 2020?
Are you taking part in any 2020 reading challenges?

Let me know in the comments!

  1. You’ve got some great goals for the year and they line up pretty closely to mine. I want to read mostly from what I already own, as well as read and exceed a GR goal of 50 books for the year! Goodluck to you!
