The Finished Books Tag

Hey everyone!
It is Tuesday, which means it is tag day on my blog!

Today, I will be doing the Finished Books Tag, which I recently saw on Reading At Teatime. It looked like a fun tag, so I have decided to do it myself.

Questions

1 – Do you keep a list of the books you have read?

I keep track of the books I read on GoodReads, and I have a thread pinned on my Twitter of the books I read every year.

2 – If you record statistics, what statistics do you record?

On Twitter, I record the book title, author, and my star rating.
On GoodReads, I record all of those, and usually share my review too.

3 – Do you give star ratings for books and if so, what do you score books out of and how do you come about this score?

1 STAR – Really didn’t enjoy it, probably DNF’ed.
2 STAR – Didn’t enjoy it, but managed to get through it
3 STAR – It was okay, but probably wouldn’t read it again
4 STAR – I really enjoyed it, and would probably read it again
5 STAR – I loved it, and would definitely read it again

4 – Do you review books?

Yes I do. I try to review every book I read, and share it on here and GoodReads.

5 – Where do you put your finished books?

It really just depends on how I felt about the book! Anything above a 4 star will go straight back on to my shelves, and so will any 3 stars that I may read again. Anything else, I will see if my family and friends are interested in reading it, and if not, then it goes to the charity shop.

6 – Do you have any other rituals for when you have finished a book?

As soon as I finish a book, I go and write my review for it, while it is all still fresh in my mind.
