Today, I will be doing the My Life In Books tag. I saw Kerri @ Kerri McBookNerd do this tag on her blog a while back, and thought it looked like fun, so here goes…
1 – Find a book for each of your initials
D – Do Not Disturb by Claire Douglas
A – American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis
N – No One Is Too Small To Make A Difference by Greta Thunberg
N – Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen
I – It by Stephen King
2 – Count your age along with your bookshelf. What book is it?
I have 3 separate bookshelves, so I have done all 3…
Bookshelf 1 – The Marriage Pact by Michelle Richmond
Bookshelf 2 – Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevsky
Bookshelf 3 – Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen
3 – Pick a book set in your city/country.
The Babysitter by Phoebe Morgan, which is partly set in Suffolk, where I am from.
4 – Pick a book that represents a destination you’d love to travel to.
I have always wanted to visit Japan. Its culture and history absolutely fascinate me! Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden presents the true confessions of one of Japan’s most celebrated geisha.
5 – Pick a book that has your favourite colour on it.
I have so many black books on my shelves, so this was an easy one! So I have chosen one of my favourites from 2019: Hold Your Tongue by Deborah Masson
6 – Which book do you have the fondest memories of?
I’n going to cheat and say a series, but definitely the Harry Potter series, because it was the series that really got me in to reading, and also because when I was a child, my mum used to read it to me.
7 – Which book did you have the most difficulty reading?
Alice in Wonderland… I was so bored, but I was determined to finish it too. What a waste of time.
8 – Which book in your TBR pile will give you the biggest accomplishment when you finish it?
Leonardo Da Vinci by Walter Isaacson! It is huge, but I can not wait to read it, and I know I’ll feel great about finishing it too.
