WWW Wednesday – 27th May 2020

Hey everyone!

It is time for this week’s WWW Wednesday post! I don’t really have anything new to update you on since last week, but here we go anyway…

This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and brought back by Taking on a World of Words.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading:

I am currently reading 2 books, which are:

BOOK 1: Van Gogh by Ingo F. Walther, which is part of the Taschen art collection. So far, I am really enjoying this! It is very informative, and focuses more on his techniques and how they change over time, rather than his personal life. I actually haven’t made any progress with this since last week because I’ve been busy with other things, and I have also been fully engrossed in the other book I am currently reading.

BOOK 2: Domain by James Herbert. This book is almost 500 pages long, which is quite a lot compared to most of the books I read (usually around 200 or 300 pages), but I am powering through this! I had only just started it when I posted last week’s WWW, but I am already over 300 pages in, and I can’t put it down! Definitely living up to my expectations so far.

Recently Finished:

I haven’t finished anything new this week, so my recently finished books are the same as last week:

BOOK 1: Fifty Fifty by Steve Cavanagh. As you all know, I could not wait to read this, and once again Cavanagh didn’t disappoint! This was exactly what I hoped it would be. FULL REVIEW HERE!

BOOK 2: Lost by Leona Deakin, which is the upcoming 2nd book of the Detective Bloom series. I read Gone (book 1 in the series) back in September 2019, and really enjoyed it (REVIEW HERE), so I couldn’t wait to see what Lost had to offer. If I am honest, it exceeded my expectations, and I enjoyed it more than Gone. I am hoping to have my review for this up tomorrow, so keep an eye out for that!

Reading Next:

Next, I will be reading Hands Up by Stephen Clark. I received a copy from the author a while ago, in exchange for an honest review, but because of the backlog I had, I am only now getting to it. I’m really looking forward to seeing what this book is like!

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Have you read any of these books? If yes, what did you think?

Let me know in the comments!

    1. Less than 100 pages left of Domain and I don’t want it to end… I have to say The Rats series is one of the best I’ve ever read! Happy reading xx
