WWW Wednesday – 3rd June 2020

Hey everyone!

It is time for this week’s WWW Wednesday post!

This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and brought back by Taking on a World of Words.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading:

I am currently reading Hands Up by Stephen Clark, which is actually very relevant with what is currently happening in America. It focuses on the police brutality towards Black people in America, and #BlackLivesMatter. I am really enjoying this book, it is extremely powerful, and thought provoking. I am around half way through at the moment, and really looking forward to seeing how this story continues.

Recently Finished:

I have recently finished 2 books, which are:

BOOK 1: Van Gogh by Ingo F. Walther. This book was a great little read to have alongside the fictional books I was reading. It looks more at how Van Gogh’s technique and style change over different periods of his life, and how his emotions/mental state and the people around him influenced those changes. I won’t be writing a full review for this book, but I give it a 5 star rating.

BOOK 2: Domain by James Herbert. What a great ending to a fantastic series! I absolutely loved this book, and I can’t wait to read more of James Herbert’s books. I am hoping to have a full review up for Domain tomorrow, so keep an eye out for that!

Reading Next:

Next, I will be reading The Safe Place by Anna Downes. I recently received a press release package for this from Hodder & Stoughton, and I am really looking forward to reading this!

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Have you read any of these books? If yes, what did you think?

Let me know in the comments!
