Hey everyone!
It’s time for my June TBR! I have picked out 4 books for June, including the one that I started at the end of May.
BOOK 1: Hands Up by Stephen Clark

I started Hands Up at the end of May, and because this TBR post is a week overdue, I have actually finished it already. This was a very thought provoking and powerful book, and very relevant to current events. However, the romance aspect didn’t really make any sense to me… Full review to come!
BOOK 2: The Safe Place by Anna Downes

I recently received a press release package for The Safe Place, from Hodder and Stoughton. This book sounds so good! I started reading it on Friday evening, and am really enjoying it so far. I can’t wait to continue with it.
BOOK 3: Childish Spirits by Rob Keeley

I have had a copy of Childish Spirits for quite a while, which I was sent by the author, in exchange for an honest review. I have been working through my backlog a lot in the past few months, and I am finally going to be reading it!
BOOK 4: Lord of the Flies by William Golding

I remember reading Lord of the Flies at school, but that was such a long time ago, and I don’t feel like I really appreciated it at the time either. So, I am finally going to re-read it, and actually take it in properly.
Which books are on your June TBR?
Have you read any of the books on mine?
If yes, what did you think?
Let me know in the comments!
I had to read Lord of the flies for my GCSE exam 32 years ago 😂

I read LOtF for my GCSE’s at school too! Definitely didn’t appreciate the message until later (and found I could think more critically about it too) – I look forward to your thoughts on it! 🙂 Great TBR they all look fantastic 😀

I don’t think I can manage with a monthly TBR.
