WWW Wednesday – 24th June 2020

Hey everyone!

It is time for this week’s WWW Wednesday post!

This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and brought back by Taking on a World of Words.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading:

I am currently reading Lord of the Flies by William Golding. I last read this about 12 years ago, while I was in high school, but I never fully took it in or appreciated it, hence why I am rereading it now. I have to say that although it is a great book, I wouldn’t say it is good enough to be a modern classic…

Recently Finished:

I recently finished Childish Spirits by Rob Keeley. I received a copy of the book from the author, in exchange for a review. I didn’t really know what to expect from this, and although it wasn’t a 5 star read, it was still a fun, quick read, and I did enjoy reading it. Review coming soon!

Reading Next:

Next, I will be reading Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi. This has been on my TBR for a while, and I am really excited to finally read it! It is a little out of my usual genres, but after everything I have heard about this book, I have high expectations!

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Have you read any of these books? If yes, what did you think?

Let me know in the comments!

  1. I’m currently reading Kafka on the Shore by Murakami, I just finished Emma by Jane Austen, and my next read is going to be Hamnet!

  2. Okay, that cover of Lord of the Flies is my favorite one I’ve seen. Looks like your views on it are similar to mine. I’m glad to have read it, but it was basically just about rich white boys being horrific.
