Hey everyone!
Today, I will be doing the Summer Bucket List book tag. Thank you to the lovely Candyce @ The Book Dutchesses for tagging me!
The Rules
- Link back to the original creator in your post.
- Feel free to use any of my graphics in your post, or create your own!
- Tag 5 other people at the end of your post, and let them know you’ve tagged them.
Hit The Beach – A Book Set By The Sea
Lord of the Flies by William Golding is set on an uninhabited island, which obviously is surrounded by the sea!

Watch Fireworks – A Book That Had A Fiery Romance
I’m not really a romance fan, so this was a difficult one for me, but I am choosing Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuck. Tyler and Marla have a very fiery romance!

Go For A Road Trip – A Book That Involves A Journey
The Lord of the Rings has one of the most epic journeys ever!

Camp Under The Stars – A Book That Had You Starstruck
Thirteen by Steve Cavanagh. This was the first book I ever read of Steve Cavanagh’s, and I was completely lost for words when I finished it. Cavanagh has such an incredible writing talent.

Marathon Some Movies – A Book You Couldn’t Put Down
Keep Her Quiet by Emma Curtis. I read this very recently, and it was so good, I couldn’t stop reading! Definitely my favourite book of 2020 so far.

Go Out For Ice Cream – A Book With A Sweet Romance
It wasn’t officially a romance, but the relationship between Dejean and Perle in Our Bloody Pearl by D.N. Bryn was so lovely!

Picnic In The Park – A Book That Was A Breath Of Fresh Air
I am so used to reading thrillers all the time, or generally serious books, so The Beast and The Bethany was definitely a breath of fresh air for me!

Go For A Hike – A Character Who Conquered An Obstacle
So many obstacles were overcome, by multiple characters in The Rats by James Herbert. The main issue being killer mutant rats, that will have you terrified for the rest of your life.

Grill Some BBQ – A Book Featuring Delicious Food
The Ship of Shadows by Maria Kuzniar. THERE IS SO MUCH CAKE!! Let’s be honest, we all love cake!

Watch The Sunrise – A Book That Inspired You
Van Gogh’s Ear by Bernadette Murphy. As the title suggests, this book focuses on the events surrounding Van Gogh cutting off his ear, which may sound like a really odd book to be inspired by. BUT, despite all of his mental health problems, and difficulties that he went through in his life, Van Gogh continued to do what he loved, and to chase his dreams, even in his darkest times!
