Hey everyone!
I have decided that I will be making Guest Posts a permanent Sunday feature. If you want to be featured, check the info at the bottom of this post.
So, for today’s post, here is another blogger guest post.
This week, we have Sarah, from Parchment Pages!

Tell us a bit about yourself.
Hey, my name is Sarah and I’m 28 years old. I’m originally from Sheffield but I’ve been living with my partner in Manchester for nearly three years. I like photography, bike rides, and sneaking books into the house to fill the already overflowing shelves.
Why did you decide to start a blog?
I started my blog just before I started uni but I’ve only just started to post more frequently. I initially started it to try and build up the confidence to share my own writing, but it grew into what it is today. A place to share my love for reading and writing.
What is your favourite thing about being a blogger?
My favourite thing about being a blogger is the sense of community. I love reading everyone’s different opinions of books, Everyone that I’ve spoken to are really welcoming and friendly.
Who are some of your favourite authors?
I’ve read all the books written by Cassandra Clare so she is definitely high on the list. I also really enjoy Brigid Kemmerer and Non Pratt, I really enjoy their writing styles. Recently I read Roseanne A Brown’s debut and she very quickly became one of my favourite authors, if you haven’t read A Song of Wraiths and Ruin I highly recommend it!
Name one book that you think everyone should read in their lifetime, and explain why.
Sea Prayer by Khaled Hosseini – it will break your heart but it’s such a powerful short story and the illustrations that accompany it are phenomenal.
Suggest 3 blogs that you enjoy reading.
The ones that I read the most are:
- Yours! (thank you Sarah)
- Ellie @ EleanorSophieWrites
- Beth @ BookNest
- Emma @ NeverJudgeABookByItsCover
