Hey everyone!
It’s time for my September TBR! I have decided to push myself a little this month, and I have picked out 7 books for the month, including the 2 that I had already started.
BOOK 1: Ten Days in a Mad-House by Nellie Bly

YES, Ten Days in a Mad-House is on my TBR, AGAIN. I did make some progress on this in August, but my arcs and blog tour books took priority, so I didn’t get to finish it. Hopefully I will this month though.
BOOK 2: Out For Blood by Deborah Masson

I started Out For Blood towards the end of August, and carried it through in to September, but because my TBR post is up a little late, I have actually already finished it. This is a great book, and I really enjoyed it, but I have to say, I preferred Hold Your Tongue (the first book in the DI Eve Hunter series, REVIEW HERE) My review for Out For Blood will be up some time in the next couple of weeks, so keep an eye out.
BOOK 3: The Haunting of Alma Fielding by Kate Summerscale

I am actually currently reading The Haunting of Alma Fielding. I received an ARC of the book through NetGalley, and have been super excited to read it. I love a good ghost story, but this being a true story makes it even better.
BOOK 4: When I Come Home Again by Caroline Scott

I have had an ARC of When I Come Home Again by Caroline Scott for quite a while now, but I wanted to save it until closer to the release date, which is 29th October. This is one of my most anticipated reads of the year, and I can not wait to finally read it.
BOOK 5: Vultures by Luke Tarzian

I won a copy of Vultures because I was the author’s 1000th follower on Twitter! I will be reading it for the blog tour, hosted by @The_WriteReads. It is a little out of my usual comfort zone, but it sounds so good, so I am really looking forward to giving it a try!
BOOK 6: The Berlin Girl by Mandy Robotham

I received an ARC of The Berlin Girl through NetGalley, and I love historical fiction set in WWII, so I am very excited to read this one. I’m hoping this is as good as the synopsis makes it sound!
BOOK 7: The Christmas Killer by Alex Pine

Another NetGalley ARC, but I was actually auto approved for The Christmas Killer by Avon Books. I have high expectations for this, because it sounds amazing! A Christmas thriller? What more could I ask for!
