Autumn Reading Tag

Hey everyone!

Today’s post is the Autumn reading tag! I saw this tag on Pretty Purple Polka Dots, and thought it would be fun to do it myself.

Hot Chocolate – what is your comfort book?

My comfort books will always be the Vampirates series by Justin Somper. But, if I’m choosing one in particular, it would have to be Demon of the Ocean (book 1 of the series).

Pumpkin Carving – what is your favourite creative outlet?

Drawing. Ever since I was a child, art has been my biggest passion. Recently, I haven’t been able to do as much drawing as I would have liked, but I’m definitely going to focus on it more again soon.

Falling Leaves – changes that appear bad but you secretly love?

Dark clouds. I absolutely love seeing the dark clouds roll in, knowing that we’re either about to get a downpour, or a storm!

Pumpkin Spiced Latte – something you love that others tend to judge

Black Veil Brides. For the past 12 years of my life, Black Veil Brides have been my favourite band, and I absolutely adore them, but there is definitely a huge amount of people who judge them. It actually really annoys me, because apart from one previous band member, who was actually kicked out for his behaviour, they are the loveliest group of people, and are great role models.

Bonfire Night – what makes you explode with joy?

My daughter. Nothing in this world could make me happier than seeing her little smiling face. For me, nothing compares to the love I have for her.

Fright Night – favourite scary book or film

OH this is a hard one, because I love so many! But, I will go with The Rats by James Herbert. (Unpopular opinion, but Herbert is a better horror writer than King)

Halloween candy – favourite thing to eat

Chocolate. Give me all the chocolate!

Scarves – your autumn ‘must have’ accessory

A wooly hat, OBVIOUSLY! There was actually a time in my life where I wore a beanie hat all year round…

Fire – a book or film that burns your soul

What does that even mean? I really don’t know how I’m meant to answer this…

Toffee apples – a book or film that seems one thing but really has a different inside

Little Miss Sunshine. It is one of my favourite films ever, and is nothing like the title suggests!
