Hey everyone!
It has been a couple of weeks since my last one, because I had a review up last Wednesday for a blog tour, but it is time for this week’s WWW Wednesday post!
I’m actually rather impressed with how much reading I’ve got through in the past 2 weeks!
This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and brought back by Taking on a World of Words.
The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Currently Reading:

I am currently reading She Died Famous by Kyle Rutkin. This has been on my NetGalley to read shelf for quite a while, so I’m happy to finally be ticking it off the list! So far, I’m a little unsure, but I’m hoping it picks up a bit. I am reading this for the “Read any mystery” prompt of the Spooktober Readathon.

Yes, Ten Days in a Mad-House by Nellie Bly has been in my currently reading section for while now, but I’ve had to put in on the back seat for now, because of blog tours and ARCs! I’m not planning on taking on anything new, so once I get through the ones I’ve already agreed to, I will be finishing this!
Recently Finished:

I recently finished The Chalet by Catherine Cooper. I read this for the “Read a book where someone goes missing” prompt of Spooktober Readathon. I did enjoy this, but it didn’t have as much action as I would have liked. (review to come)

I also recently finished My Sister, The Serial Killer by Oyinkan Braithwaite. This was also for Spooktober Readathon, and is one of the team books for Team Mystery. Although I can see why there is so much hype for it, I have to say that personally, I felt like there was something missing from the story. (review to come)

The third book I recently finished is The Berlin Girl by Mandy Robotham. I had an ARC of this, thanks to NetGalley, and it is fantastic! I highly recommend this if you are a fan of historical fiction. (review to come)

And the fourth book I recently finished is Carrie by Stephen King. I read this for the “Read a spooky book with a movie adaptation” prompt for Spooktober Readathon. I have very mixed feelings about this book. The actual story is great, and I thoroughly enjoyed it, BUT King’s obsession with certain female body parts, and some very questionable language ruined it for me. (review to come)
Reading Next:

Next, I will be reading Tested By Fire by David Costa for the blog tour, hosted by @damppebbles. This one sounds very interesting, so I’m looking forward to getting in to it. My stop on the tour will be 8th November.

I also felt like there was something missing from My Sister, the Serial Killer! I was gripped by it and read it in almost one sitting but it wasn’t what I was expecting!

You have a nice mix of books highlighted here. A little bit of something for every reader. I have read My Sister the Serial Killer and enjoyed it but totally get where you’re coming from in regards to the hype. When placed up against other contenders for big awards it just did not seem to fit for me. Well written, yes. Entertaining, yes. Somehow the book’s message was downplayed while the action of one sister covering up the other’s held the spotlight.
