Riddhi’s Questions:

1 – What is the one thing you will never do?

This is such a hard question! Activity wise, I would probably give anything a go if I’m honest…

2 – One book you will protect with your life?

Can I choose a series instead? Because I’m choosing the Vampirates series! Those of you who read my blog regularly will know just how much I adore this series.

3 – The most tragic moment of your life? (If you do not mind sharing)

The death of my best friend. We were 14 at the time, and we had been friends for 10 years. It is now 10 years since his death, and it still hurts just as much as it did the day he died. I don’t think I will ever be able to cope with it fully, and there constantly feels like there is something missing without him.

4 – One thing you enjoyed about staying at home for the past few months?

During the full lockdown, Alex was home all day every day with Evelyn and I, and it was amazing being able to spend time as a family! Even if we were restricted to what we could do.

5 – The one food that you will eat, even on a full stomach?

Chocolate. I can never say no!

6 – One book that you can reread forever and not get bored?

Again, I’m choosing the Vampirates series. It holds a very special place in my heart, and it’s my go to comfort read.

7 – Which post that you have written is your favourite? Share the link as well.

There were a few contenders for this one, but I’m going with my review for When I Come Home Again by Caroline Scott (READ IT HERE)

Stephen’s Questions:

1 – Is there a particular genre that you feel you should read more of?

YA Mystery/Thriller. I never really gave them much of a chance… Because I aways read thrillers, I always assumed YA wouldn’t be graphic enough for me, but thanks to @The_WriteReads blog tours, I’ve read a few recently, and loved them!

2 – What is your favourite book-to-film adaptation?

Tough question, because there are so many that I absolutely love. But, I will go with either The Lord of the Rings trilogy (The Hobbit movies were nowhere near as good), or Fight Club!

3 – We have spent a lot of time at home in 2020. Have you found (or rediscovered) any new activities that you enjoy doing?

I started yoga during lockdown, it made me feel amazing, and I really enjoyed it, but then I injured my foot (I tried to do a yoga handstand in our dining room, kicked our piano by accident, and thought I had broken my foot), and since then I haven’t done it much. But, I am hoping to start doing it again.

4 – Which writing or blogging achievement are you most proud of?

Honestly? The fact that I’ve actually stuck with it! It can be so difficult to stay motivated, especially if your posts aren’t doing as well as you had hoped, and it is very easy to get yourself down when you see the success of others, and you don’t feel like you’ll ever be on their level. I am so proud of myself for carrying on through those times, because I love my little blog, and all of the friends I’ve made because of it!

5 – What is your favourite type of blog post to write?

As stressful as they can be sometimes, I would have to say that review posts are my favourite to write. I love sharing my thoughts and opinions on what I’ve been reading, and it’s a fun process going through all of those thoughts and writing them down.

6 – Are you able to finish a book in one sitting?

Not anymore. Before having my daughter I could, but now there is always one reason or another to get up and do other things that are more important.

7 – Which of your 2020 reads has the most beautiful cover?

Such a hard decision, because there are so many books that I’ve read this year with really beautiful covers, but I think I’ll go for The Ship of Shadows by Maria Kuzniar.
