WWW Wednesday – 2nd December 2020

Hey everyone!
It is time for this week’s WWW Wednesday post!

This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and brought back by Taking on a World of Words.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

I am currently reading The Open House by Sam Carrington. I received an e-ARC of this thanks to NetGalley and Avon Books. I have only just started this, but I’m hoping it will live up to my expectations for it!

Recently Finished:

I recently finished reading my third and final book that I was allocated as a BBNYA panelist. I can’t share the title with you all because of panelist rules, but I have to say, this is one of my favourite reads of 2020! All 3 of my allocated books were great, and I am so excited to be able to talk about them when the competition is over!

Ten Days in a Mad-House by Nellie Bly had been put on the back seat for a while, because of blog tours and ARCs, but I have FINALLY finished it! This is such an interesting story, and Nellie Bly was incredibly brave. Review to come.

I also recently finished reading Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier. I reading this as part of a buddy read with some of the Write Reads gang. We split the book in to 4 sections for discussion purposes, and we had so much fun talking about this book. I honestly think I enjoyed it a lot more because of the buddy read! Review to come.

I had intended for this to be my first book of December, but because I have a NetGalley copy of The Open House to read and review, which is being released on the 10th of this month, I have had to push Haunted back a little. I can not wait to read it though, and have a feeling it could become one of my favourite 2020 reads.

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Have you read any of these books? If yes, what did you think?

  1. The Open House sounds like an Agatha Christie novel; I’d definitely read that!

I recently read Rebecca and then watched all the movie adaptations and did a comparison of them all on my blog.

Congrats on finishing Nellie Bly’s book! It’s been a long time coming, and I’m sure it feels wonderful to have gotten that checked off your list.
