First Lines Fridays – 19th November 2021

It is time for this week’s First Lines Fridays post!

First Lines Fridays is a weekly feature for book lovers hosted by Wandering Words. What if instead of judging a book by its cover, its author or its prestige, we judged it by its opening lines?

The Foreign Secretary is being held under the Terrorism Act. He will answer the police’s questions on one condition – they let him speak to Dr Augusta Bloom.

I am currently reading Hunt, which is book 3 in the Dr Bloom thriller series. I’ve loved the previous 2 books (Gone, and Lost), and so far, I am really enjoying this one too.
