2022 Reading Goals and Challenges

Hey everyone!
For today’s post, I will be sharing my reading goals, and reading challenges for the year with you all.

GoodReads Reading Challenge:

For this year’s GoodReads Reading Challenge, I have set my goal to 40 books, which is the same as 2021. In 2021, I read 43 books, so I’m hoping to do the same or better this year. I am already well on track, and actually ahead of schedule to meet my goal.

2022 Reading Challenge

I am taking part in the 2022 Reading Challenge, which is hosted by the lovely Mina @ Stacked. I have taken part in her yearly challenge for the past 2 years, and have done an awful job both times so far, but I’m really looking forward to doing this years challenge, and trying to do a better job at it than the last 2 years! You can check out which books I have chosen for the prompts HERE!

12 Challenge

I saw lots of people on bookstagram and book twitter doing the 12 challenge, and decided to take part myself. 12 months to read 12 books recommended by 12 friends. You can find my post with my list of books that I was recommended HERE!

#BeatTheBacklog

Along with what seems to be 90% of book twitter, this year will be the year that I #BeatTheBacklog! My shelves of unread books is just completely out of hand now, and I need to take control. So, I will be cutting back on blog tours and ARCs, and really focusing on the books I already own!

I’m sure I say this every year, and it never happens, but 2022 WILL be the year that I finally get it done.

I am really looking forward to this year of reading, and I hope that I do well with my challenges. Wish me luck!

Have you set yourself any goals for 2022?
Are you taking part in any 2022 reading challenges?

Let me know in the comments!
