Protège Moi by Placebo
Protège Moi is a French language version of Protect Me from What I Want from Placebo’s fourth album, Sleeping with Ghosts. It was released as a single in France only on 8th April 2004. It also features on 2016 Sleeping With Ghosts: B-Sides, the 2016 A Place For Us To Dream compilation, and the bands 2004 greatest hits album Once More with Feeling: Singles 1996–2004.
This is one of my favourite songs of all time, and has been since I was about 9 years old (which was in 2005). My sister got me in to Placebo around that time, and I have loved them ever since. I actually give full credit to my sister for 90% of my music taste, because her influence in my childhood really opened me up to genres and artists that weren’t mainstream/typically played on the radio, and many of which I still listen to and love today.
