Hey everyone!
Today, I am sharing my March TBR, but this month is a little different, because I am taking part in the Trope-ical Readathon! I am part or team Mystery/Horror/Thriller. I have chosen books for every prompt, but realistically, there is no way I will read even half of them… but no harm in trying, right? Wish me luck!
Common Challenges:
Prompt 1 – Absent/Dead Parent(s) OR A Book With More Than One Author

When She Disappeared is on my NetGalley to read shelf, and as you can see it has more than one author.
Prompt 2 – Love Triangle OR Followers/Friends Choose Between Two Books

Legendborn was in the recommended books section for the love triangle prompt on the Trope-ical readathon page, and I have had a copy of this book for a while, and am desperate to read it.
Prompt 3 – Bookish Themes OR A Predicted 5-Star Read

I have heard so many amazing things about These Violent Delights, so it is a predicted 5-star read for me.
Prompt 4 – Platonic Partnership OR A Buddy Read

I will be buddy reading Viper this month with a few friends, and I can not wait!
Prompt 5 – Food Themed OR A “Meaty” Book (Over 500 Pages)

Helter Skelter is definitely a “meaty” book, and one that I have wanted to read for a long time!
Prompt 6 – Blast From The Past OR A Book Published Before 2000

Two Can Keep A Secret is on the recommended reading list for the blast from the past prompt. I love Karen M. McManus’ books, but haven’t read this one yet, so it is the perfect opportunity.
Prompt 7 – Mixed Media OR An Audiobook Or E-Book

I have chosen Radar Girls for the audiobook or e-book prompt, as it is also on my 12 challenge list, and I have an e-book copy.
Prompt 8 – (Post) Apocalyptic OR A Comfort Read

The Vampirates series as a whole is a comfort read for me, but especially Demons of the Ocean (book 1). I am so excited to read this again.
Prompt 9 – Found Family OR A Book In A Series

Good & Evil is the 2nd book in a series. I read The Four Symbols (book 1) a while back (review here), and this has been on my NetGalley shelf for way too long.
Prompt 10 – Morally Grey/Anti-Hero OR A Previously DNF’ed Book

I have chosen a book from the recommended list for the morally grey/anti-hero prompt. The Obsession particularly stood out for me, so that’s what I’ve gone with.
Prompt 11 – Multiple POV OR Multiple POC Characters

Again, a book on the recommended reading list that I own and am desperate to read, this time for the multiple POV prompt.
Prompt 12 – The New Kid In Town OR A Genre You Don’t Usually Read

I very rarely read classics, but there are a lot that I do want to read, so I have chosen 1984 for this prompt.
Prompt 13 – A Retelling OR A Book With A TV Or Movie Adaptation

There are quite a few retellings that I want to read, but top of the list is Cinderella Is Dead!
Team Challenges:
Prompt 1 – Read A Book Featuring The “Found Footage/Artifacts” Trope

Wilthaven was on the recommended reading list, and a book I have been interested in reading since BBNYA.
Prompt 2 – Read A Book Centred Around Spies

The Night Manager was also from the recommended reading. Spies books aren’t something I would usually pick up, but I’m willing to give it a try.
Team Books:
Book 1 – The Verifiers by Jane Pek

Book 2 – The Year of the Witching by Alexis Henderson

Which books are on your March TBR?
Have you read any of the books on mine?
If yes, what did you think?
