Wrap Up: April 2022

Hey everyone!
Today, I will be sharing my April wrap up with you all!

I had a pretty good reading month in April, and I managed to read a total of 6 books!

Books Read:

1 – Man Down by James Goodhand

I read Man Down for the @The_WriteReads blog tour, and it was definitely an interesting one. It wasn’t what I was expecting, but I have been thinking about the ending ever since I finished it.

2 – The Shadow House by Anna Downes

I received a copy of The Shadow House from the publisher. I previously read The Safe Place by Anna Downes (REVIEW HERE) and loved it, so I was very excited for this, and it didn’t let me down! Review to come.

3 – The Last Bear by Hannah Gold

This was actually a re-read. I previously read and reviewed The Last Bear, and absolutely adored it. This time, I read it as a bedtime story with my 4yo daughter, and she loved it just as much as I did.

4 – Why Mummy’s Sloshed by Gill Sims

PURCHASE HERE (affiliate links): Amazon UKWaterstonesBook Depository

I started Why Mummy’s Sloshed a few months back, but because of blog tour obligations I had to put it on the back burner. I finally got to finish it, and it’s a bitter sweet feeling. I absolutely loved this book, but I’m so sad that it is the last book in the Why Mummy series, because I WANT MORE! Review to come.

5 – The Last Thing To Burn by Will Dean

PURCHASE HERE (affiliate links): Amazon UKWaterstonesBook Depository

The Last Thing To Burn was my chosen book for April from my 12 Challenge list, and I really enjoyed it. I will definitely be reading more from Will Dean in the future! Review to come.

6 – Nothing But Blackened Teeth by Cassandra Khaw

PURCHASE HERE (affiliate links): Amazon UKWaterstonesBook Depository

I have wanted to read Nothing But Blackened Teeth for quite a while, so I bought a copy with some birthday money and slipped it in at the end of April. If I’m honest, I was a little disappointed. On a positive note though, this cover is absolutely amazing! Review to come.
