The Summer Bucket List Book Tag

Hey everyone!
Today I will be doing the Summer Bucket List book tag. I saw this tag over on The Book Dutchesses, and thought it looked fun, so decided to give it a go myself.

The Rules:

  • Link back to the original creator in your post.
  • Feel free to use any of the graphics in your post, or create your own!
  • Tag 5 other people at the end of your post, and let them know you’ve tagged them.

Hit The Beach – A Book Set By The Water

Although it is mainly set on Bear Island, The Last Bear is also briefly set both by the water, and on/in the water. This is an incredibly beautiful story that I could read over and over again.

Watch Fireworks – A Book That Had A Fiery Romance

PURCHASE HERE (affiliate links): Amazon UKBook Depository

The relationship between Jack and Killian in May Day is unbelievably fiery, but it was so enjoyable to read. In the end, despite the fact that they have this odd love/hate relationship, I as kind of routing for them.

Camp Under The Stars – A Book That Left You Starstruck

To be honest, I don’t really know how to answer this one…

Marathon Some Movies – A Book You Couldn’t Put Down

I found it impossible to put Viper down. This has been my favourite read of the year so far, and I am desperate to read the rest of the series!

Go Out For Ice Cream – A Book With A Sweet Romance

PURCHASE HERE: Amazon UK (affiliate link), Link to list of distributors

I’m not usually a big fan of romance, but there is something about the way that D.N. Bryn writes the romance aspects of their books that really sucks me in. The relationship between Rubem and Tavish in Odder Still is particularly lovely!

Picnic In The Park – A Book That Was A Breath Of Fresh Air

PURCHASE HERE (affiliate links): Amazon UKWaterstonesBook Depository

The whole Why Mummy series is a breath of fresh air for me. It’s much less intense than my usual type of books, but it also refreshingly honest about parenthood. It is hilariously funny, and a joy to read. Why Mummy Drinks is the first book in the series, and possibly my favourite.

Go For A Hike – A Character That Conquered An Obstacle

PURCHASE HERE (affiliate links): Amazon UKWaterstonesBook Depository

Lottie and Ellie both overcome so many obstacles in Undercover Princess, some more serious than others. This book was a little out of my comfort zone, but I loved it!

Grill Some BBQ – A Book Featuring Delicious Food

PURCHASE HERE (affiliate links): Amazon UKWaterstonesBook Depository

I don’t really read many books that include food, but The Ship of Shadows includes so many delicious cakes, and who doesn’t love cake?

Watch The Sunrise – A Book That Inspired You

PURCHASE HERE (affiliate links): Amazon UKWaterstonesBook Depository

Van Gogh’s Ear really highlights the sadness of Van Gogh’s life, but that is exactly why it inspires me. Despite everything, he never once gave up on his dream, and that is incredibly inspiring. Okay, his fame came too late, because it was after his death, but he finally got the recognition that he deserved, and that never would have happened if he had given up.
