Book Blurb:

Wolfboy Jack and The Scissors of Doom is a story about bravery, being scared, and facing your fears head-on. Set in the quirky, monster-filled world first seen in 2019’s Molly and the Bog Sprogs. ‘Wolfboy’s here to save the day! He’s so brave!’, they sing. ‘That’s right’, he said. ‘I don’t get scared. I don’t fear anything’. But what if he does fear something? And what if he doesn’t want want to admit to it? The dashing tale of a valiant hero who, with the help of his friends, finds new ways to be brave.

My Review:

Wolfboy Jack and the Scissors of Doom is a fun little read, perfect for this time of year, as it is filled with monsters. It has a very lovely message that it is okay to feel scared, and it’s not something to be ashamed of, everyone gets scared sometimes. It also shows the importance of being there for your friends when they are scared, and to help them through their fears. The illustrations in the book are absolutely gorgeous too. Evelyn and I really enjoyed reading this together.

Evelyn’s Thoughts:
It was really good. My favourite part was when Jack was too hairy to see his face, and when he was really stinky and thought he saw a beast, but he was looking in a mirror. It was nice of Jack’s friends to help him and look after him.
