Book Blurb:
Do you have a silent budgie?
When Asaf and Lottie buy a budgie at the market, things go a bit quiet. Sid won’t talk if you scratch his head, or if you bribe him with a raisin. But when he falls into the cake mixture, everything changes.
An amusing easy reader about pet birds with great illustrations.
Enjoy the Tilly Tales series in ebook or in paperback
My Review:
Silent Sid is a super cute story about a very quiet budgie, who eventually finds his voice. It’s an enjoyable little read, with great characters, and absolutely gorgeous illustrations! Evelyn and I loved reading this one, and I will definitely be getting the other books in the series for us to read together.
Evelyn’s Thoughts:
It was good. My favourite things were when Sid started talking too much, and when Sid fell into the cake mixture, that made me laugh. It was funny when Sid tried to sneak into the raisin packet in one of the pictures when Lottie was cooking.
