2023 Reading Goals and Challenges

Hey everyone!
For today’s post, I will be sharing my reading goals, and reading challenges for the year with you all.

GoodReads Reading Challenge:

For this year’s GoodReads Reading Challenge, I have set my goal to 50 books. In 2022, I set my goal to 40 and read 57, so I upped my goal this year. I am already well on track, and actually ahead of schedule to meet my goal already.

23 In 2023 Challenge

I am taking part in the 23 In 2023 challenge. I have made sure to pick books that I already own, and I am super excited about all of them. You can find my TBR for the challenge HERE!

12 Challenge

12 months to read 12 books recommended by 12 friends. I took part in this challenge in 2022 and did an AWFUL job, but I decided to give it a go again this year, and hopefully I will do better than last year. You can find my post with my list of books that I was recommended HERE!

#BeatTheBacklog

I tried to do #BeatTheBacklog last year and failed miserably, but this year I am determined! My shelves of unread books is just completely out of hand now, and I need to take control. So, I will be cutting back on blog tours and ARCs, and really focusing on the books I already own!

I’m sure I say this every year, and it never happens, but 2023 WILL be the year.

I am really looking forward to this year of reading, and I hope that I do well with my challenges. Wish me luck!

Have you set yourself any goals for 2023?
Are you taking part in any 2023 reading challenges?
