Hey everyone!
It’s already time for another monthly wrap up post! I picked out 5 books for October, which you can see in my October TBR post.
I actually didn’t fully stick to the books that I initially picked out, mainly because I forgot to include my final round allocated books for BBNYA (Book Bloggers’ Novel of the Year Award) in my TBR, which need to be read and scored by mid December.
In total, I read 3 books in October, and started 2 more which I will be continuing in November.
Books Read:
1 – Inside The Mind of John Wayne Gacy by Brad Hunter
Inside The Mind of John Wayne Gacy by Brad Hunter was perfect for this time of year. I knew the basic details of the Gacy case, but this book gave all of the ins and outs of what happened. It was a fascinating read!
2 & 3 – BBNYA Final Round Books
I read the first 2 of my 3 books allocated to me for the final round of BBNYA. Due to competition rules, I’m not allowed to name the books I have read until after the competition has ended. However, I can say that I really enjoyed both, and one of the 2 is probably my favourite book I’ve ever read for BBNYA over the years! I can’t wait to talk about them both when the competition is over.
Books Started, But Not Yet Finished:
1 – The Ghost Woods by C.J. Cooke
I’m around half way through The Ghost Woods by C.J. Cooke, which was our book club book for October. Our meet up to discuss the book is the 13th November, so I have until then to get it finished.
2 – The Berlin Agent by Stephen Robson
I started The Berlin Agent by Stephen Ronson, but then BBNYA books, and our book club book took president because of there being a deadline for those. I am only around 15% through this one at the moment, but I’m looking forward to continuing with it this month.
