Hey everyone!
Today I am sharing my results from my 24 in 2024 reading challenge! You can read all about the books I chose for my TBR in my original post.
I didn’t manage to read all 24 of them, mainly due to blog tours and things, but I did managed to read almost half of them, which is much better than I managed with my 23 in 2023!
MY 24 IN 2024 TBR:

THE BOOKS I READ:
Demon by Matt Wesolowski proved to be just as good as the rest of the Six Stories series! I’m so sad that the series has now come to an end, because it has become one of my favourites.
- Fear Ground by Jennifer Killick
I actually ended up enjoying Fear Ground by Jennifer Killick even more than I did Dread Wood (review here). This is such a fantastic middle grade horror series, and I’m looking forward to continuing it.
- The Saturday Night Sauvignon Sisterhood by Gill Sims
Gill Sims is one of my favourite authors, and I adore her Why Mummy series. The Saturday Night Sauvignon Sisterhood certainly lived up to my high expectations, and even included some cameos from Why Mummy characters!
- When Women Ruled The World by Kara Cooney
When Women Ruled The World by Kara Cooney was an incredibly interesting read. I’ve always been fascinated by Ancient Egypt, and I learnt so much from this book.
- Why Mummy Drinks At Christmas by Gill Sims
Why Mummy Drinks At Christmas by Gill Sims was a little different to the other Why Mummy books as it jumps between different Christmas memories. As usual, Gill Sims had me laughing out loud! I loved this book.
- The Young Widows by S.J. Short
The Young Widows by S.J. Short had a brilliant storyline, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I did predict a few of the twists, but that certainly didn’t spoil the book, and the ending was beautifully written.
- She Is A Haunting by Trang Thanh Tran
She Is A Haunting by Trang Thanh Tran was a little bit disappointing for me. I had been so excited for it, and it wasn’t a bad book, but I just felt that it fell a little flat.
- Tender Is The Flesh by Agustina Bazterrica
Tender Is The Flesh by Agustina Bazterrica really was as messed up as people had said it was, but I also found that it was incredibly thought provoking. It definitely lived up to the hype!
- Wilder Girls by Rory Power
I had been intending to read Wilder Girls by Rory Power for years, but it just sat on my shelf unread… I’m glad I finally read it though, as I ended up really enjoying it. It was worth the wait. Review to come!
- Toby and the Wizards of Wildhaven by Sally Doherty
Having read Toby and the Silver Blood Witches by Sally Doherty for the final round of BBNYA 2022 (review here), which it ended up winning, I was super excited for Toby and the Wizards of Wildhaven, and it didn’t disappoint!
STARTED BUT NOT FINISHED:
- The Accomplice by Steve Cavanagh
I started reading The Accomplice by Steve Cavanagh in December, in the hopes that I would finish it before the end of the year. However, the whole household then came down with the flu and I could barely even lift my head, let alone read… and then the Christmas period was super busy, so I didn’t get to finish it before the New Year. I am continuing with it this month though!
How did you do for your reading challenges in 2024?
Have you read any of the books I read for my 24 in 2024?
