End of Year Book Tag 2020

Hey everyone!

Today, I am doing the End of Year book tag for 2020! I saw A Write Dreamer do this, and thought it would be fun to give it a go myself.

Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?

Ten Days in a Mad-House by Nellie Bly. I started this ages ago, but then got caught up with blog tours, review requests, and ARC’s, so it go put on the back seat, and I still haven’t finished it. It’s such an interesting story, so I really hope I get to finish it soon.

Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?

I don’t base my reading on the seasons, and tend to read mostly thrillers all year round, so no I don’t.

Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?

They Don’t Need To Understand by Andy Biersack. I pre-ordered it, and it should be arriving very soon! I have not been this excited for a book in a very long time.

What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?

  • Haunted by James Herbert
  • The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks
  • The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favourite book of the year?

Probably Haunted by James Herbert. His Rats series is incredible, so if that is anything to go by, then I think Haunted has a definite shot at becoming my favourite book of the year.

Have you already started making reading plans for 2021?

Of course. I have decided to set myself the same target of 50 books for the GoodReads Reading Challenge next year, and I am also planning to calm down on blog tours/review requests/ARC’s in 2021, so that I can focus on books I already own.

5 Books I want to read in 2021

  • The Demons Beneath by WD Jackson-Smart
  • The Heroin Diaries by Nikki Sixx
  • The Twins: Men of Violence by Kate Kray
  • The Doll House by Phoebe Morgan
  • The Five by Hallie Rubenhold

    1. You’re welcome 🙂 It is his memoir, and he has been working on it for a few years! Can’t wait to finally get my hands on it!
