Music Monday – Western Battle by Seafood

Hey everyone!

It’s time for another Music Monday! For this week’s song, I have chosen Western Battle by Seafood.

Music Monday was created by Drew over on The Tattooed Book Geek.

Western Battle by Seafood

Western Battle features on Seafood’s 2001 album, When Do We Start Fighting.
This song always reminds me of my sister, because when I was about 10 years old, and got my first MP3 player, she put a load of songs on it for me, and this was one of them (and also one of my favourites).

Lyrics

Blind leading blind
Got to get away from now on
Got to get a skin that I can feel
Time for me to breathe it’s been too long

So plenty ties the mind
I could use a little more
Well you think you got it right
You could do a little more

So I’ll keep moving through your star lands
I’m closing, where you going to run to next?
All the wasters come alive
And all the wasters come alive
And all the wasters come alive
All the wasters…

Line linking to
I got myself a line linking from
Still laughing at the best that you can do
I’m laughing ‘cos I know I’ll soon be strong

Plenty ties the mind
I could use a little more
Well you think you got it right
I could use a little more

I’ll keep moving through your star lands
I’m closing, where you going to run to next?
All the wasters come alive
And all the wasters come alive
And all the wasters come alive
All the wasters
And all the wasters

All the wasters (come alive) x 4

Plenty ties the mind
I could use a little more
Well you think you got it right
You could do a little more

So I’ll keep moving through your star lands
I’m closing, where you going to run to next?
I’ll keep moving through your star lands
I’m closing, where you going to run to next?

All the wasters come alive
And all the wasters come alive
And all the wasters come alive
And all the wasters come alive
