Monthly TBR: May 2021

Hey everyone!
April absolutely sped by, and I can’t believe we are already in May. A new month means a new TBR, and for this month, I have picked out 6 books, including 2 that I had already started.

1 – The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien

I am continuing my buddy read of The Lord of the Rings with a few of The Write Reads gang. I think we are supposed to be heading in to The Return of the King, but I’m still quite behind, and am still not finished The Two Towers. I am determined to catch up!

2 – Once Stolen by D.N. Bryn

PURCHASE HERE (affiliate links): Amazon UKBook Depository

I started Once Stolen at the very end of April, so I will be continuing it in to May. I have been exciting for this book for so long, and I was lucky enough to get an ARC copy!

3 – The Five by Hallie Rubenhold

PURCHASE HERE (affiliate links): Amazon UK, Waterstones, Book Depostiory

I am reading The Five with our The Write Reads book club that’s not a book club this month. It has been on my TBR for so long, so I’m extremely excited to finally read it! I am also using this for this month’s #TBRTackleChallenge prompt ‘Standalone’.

4 – Good & Evil by Giacometti & Ravenne

PURCHASE HERE (affiliate links): Amazon UKWaterstonesBook Depository

After having it on my NetGalley shelf for such a long time, I am finally going to read Good & Evil by Giacometti & Ravenne. I read book 1 of the series a few months back and enjoyed it, so fingers crossed I enjoy this one too. I am also using this for this months TBR Tackle Challenge prompt ‘”And” in the Title’ (the & symbol still counts, even though it isn’t the actual word)

5 – Her Last Holiday by C.L. Taylor

PURCHASE HERE (affiliate links): Amazon UKWaterstonesBook Depository

Her Last Holiday was released a couple of days ago, and it has been on my NetGalley shelf for a little bit, so I am excited to finally be reading it.

6 – Backstories by Simon Van Der Velde

PURCHASE HERE (affiliate link): Amazon UK

I received a free copy of Backstories from the author, in exchange for an honest review. I have heard so many good things about this book, so I’m looking forward to reading it for myself.

Which books are on your May TBR?
Have you read any of the books on mine?
If yes, what did you think?
