Currently Reading:

I am currently reading The Skinned Man by Darren Bruce. I was gifted a copy of the book from the author, who is local to me, and this is his debut novel. I’m only a few pages in, but I’m super excited to read this one!

I am also currently reading Kin by Kealan Patrick Burke. I started reading this as I was arriving for the school pick up early and decided to read one of my kindle books on my phone to fill the time, so I’m making slow progress with this one, but so far it’s super creepy and fantastic!

Also, my copy of The Final Gambit by Jennifer Lynn Barnes arrived, and I have been waiting so long for this so I couldn’t stop myself from immediately diving in to it! This is already living up to my expectations, and I’m excited to see how it ends.

Evelyn and I are currently reading Lily Quench and The Treasure of Mote Ely by Natalie Jane Prior together as her bedtime story, and we are very close to finishing it. We still haven’t made any more progress though, as it is still in a box somewhere from the house move, but hopefully those boxes will be unpacked soon and we’ll be able to get back to it.

Recently Finished:

I’ve not finished anything since last week, but hopefully by next week I’ll have finished a couple of my current reads.

Reading Next:

Next, I will be reading So Happy For You by Celia Laskey. I received a copy of the book from the publishers a couple of months ago and am only now getting the chance to read it. I’ve been looking forward to this one since the moment it arrived!
