Hey everyone!
I can’t believe the year is already over! 2019 has gone so fast, and a lot has happened in this year!
In regards to books, and my blog, I have had a pretty successful year, and am really happy with everything I have achieved.
I thought I would share a general wrap up of the year with you all.
GoodReads Challenge
At the beginning of the year, I set myself a target of 30 books, which is the same as my target for 2018. In 2018, I only just managed to reach my 30 book target, but this year, I have really surprised myself!
In 2019, I have read a total of 51 books!

I still haven’t decided what I will be setting my goal as for 2020. I have a lot happening next year (including getting MARRIED!!!) so I may not get as much time to read as I have this year, but I also don’t want to set my goal too low.
Favourite and Least Favourite Books of the Year
Favourite: From Inside the House by WD Jackson-Smart

Least Favourite: Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll

Although I have had a couple of very disappointing reads this year, I definitely had a great year of reading, with a lot of 5 star books! Fingers crossed, 2020 will be as positive.
Authors I Have Discovered This Year, and Loved.
As I said, I have read a lot of great books this year, but what I didn’t say is that a lot of those books were by authors that I had never read before!
Here are a few of my favourites:
- WD Jackson-Smart

- James Herbert

- Deborah Masson

- Stephanie Grey

Reading Goals
Apart from my GoodReads challenge, I didn’t really set myself any reading goals. I did want to try and read more books that I already own, but because of blog tours and review requests, it didn’t really happen. So, I will be trying to do this in 2020 instead!
My Blog
2019 is also the year that I started this blog! I only started this blog in April, and I really didn’t expect anyone to actually read it, so for it to have come so far in just 8 months is amazing! Thank you to everyone who follows, reads and interacts with my blog, I have made some great friends from being part of this community, and starting this blog is the best thing I ever did!
How has your year been?
Did you meet all of your goals for 2019?
Let me know in the comments!

Well done for absolutely smashing your reading goal this year!!
